A typical residential concrete patio takes 5 to 8 working days from excavation to final cure, weather permitting. Larger or stamped patios can extend the timeline. We provide a project-specific schedule once the scope is locked.
All three hold up equally well structurally. Durability comes from the sub-base, reinforcement, and concrete spec, not the finish. The choice is about look and budget. Plain broom finish is the cleanest and most economical. Stamped adds visual character. Exposed aggregate sits in the middle for texture and grip.
A standard residential patio is 4 inches thick over a properly compacted sub-base. For patios that will see hot tubs, heavy planters, or built-in features, we increase thickness or add reinforcement based on the load. We confirm the right spec at the site visit.
Concrete shrinks as it cures, and small surface cracks can develop over years of freeze-thaw exposure. That's why we install control joints and use proper reinforcement, to direct any movement to discrete, pre-planned locations rather than letting it happen at random.
Yes. Built-in features are best designed in at the layout stage so reinforcement and load points are planned correctly. We coordinate with landscapers, hardscapers, and outdoor kitchen builders if your project includes other trades.
